These past months have been, they've been, depressing.
Mexico had a hurricane. UC Merced had a shooting. Japan had an earthquake. Garissa University was attacked. Lebanon had a bombing. India was hit with another earthquake. Denair, CA (a town close to my hometown) just had a tornado!
As we all pray for Paris, let's not forget about the rest of the world. Pray for the ENTIRE world!
This photo session was supposed to be based on all the dark things that have been going on in the world lately. And, it was! I wanted to use a gas mask to represent the poison (all the bad stuff going on) as a symbol for protection from all these attacks. I could not get a hold of a gas mask, so I improvised by using my Halloween mask. The photo session started off at 5:30 a.m., as we tried to incorporate morning fog, with us watching the sunrise. The session ended in a cloudy and rainy day. Overall, such a successful session!
