Journal Entry 33 | Army Corps Park | Salvador, Lizeth, and James

Back when I first started my photography career, I photographed families and children. I needed to figure out if they were something I wanted to invest my time in, so I photographed a couple of sessions here and there. Turns out they were not for me. Fast forward 7 years later to 2016.

Nowadays I normally do not take family photographs, especially if children are involved (I do not hold photo sessions for children or newborns as well). There's something about them that's just not for me. Maybe it's because they can be tough to handle during the photo sessions. Maybe it's because my patience is not all there sometimes. Maybe it's because I feel bad for the families if their children begin acting up. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I don't know what it is. I just do not do them anymore. However, I do know a friend reached out for help. When it comes to helping out friends and family, I'll definitely step in! That's all this was. Helping out a friend.

P.S. I apologize for any inconvenience if you thought I still photographed families or children. I do not. I just did a friend a solid favor while we caught up on life. However, I do know of other great family photographers and I can refer you to them. Just shoot me an email and I'll send you their info.
